Report Thread starter 9 years ago 1. Hai der, first time posting here, so nice to meet you all. Okay so basically, for the past month or so I've had a bit of a thing for my girlfriend's sister, a crush you might say.
Now I feel a bit bad about this, nobody else knows but things like this eat me up inside, like I'm hurting someone, mainly my girlfriend because of it despite no one else knowing. Now I still find my girlfriend extremely attractive, I love her to the end of the world and we plan on having kids in the near future and an engagement and what not, but I can't help being attracted to her older sister.
It's only started in the past month of so, around the same time that I started spending alot more time with my girlfriend, which also meant I started seeing her sister around alot more.
She's even crossed my thoughts a few time, and crept her way into my dreams once of twice, which slightly worried me. I'm typically an extremely over-sensitive person, so maybe I'm just blowing my feels way out of proportion and completely over analysing the situation, just thinking about it way too much. Maybe because things like this don't happen to me, ever. Long story short, I've got a thing for my girlfriends sister, and could some handy advice from someone experienced in the same type of issue.
Shall I just ignore the feeling and let them go away? A handy bit of advice please. Not what you're looking for? Artvandelay Badges: 6. Report 9 years ago 2. Yes ignore it.
You are happy with your gf, and even if you would pursue something with her sister, it would not work. Most likely the sister will not want to hook up with you, and even if she theoretically did, you'd hurt your gf as much as humanly possible. So it must be ignored, and I doubt the uncomfortableness of it is worth losing your relationship over. Most likely there is a slight imagination in the back of your mind which wonders what could have happened, and you must shut that imagination down.
It will be easier as soon as you rule out the possibility than something between you and this girl will ever happen. I haven't been in the exact situation, but I developed a slight crush on the cousin of a guy I was seeing. It was nothing serious, and I'm not seeing this guy anymore, but I would still never consider meeting up with his cousin although I know he was into me.
